Caracol_ (Mayastad)
Caracol (Mayastad) From Sterwiki Caracol were a city of
the Maya. The place lies in the hillocks of western belize.
The place had been already populated probable in 1200 v. Chr..
the earliest historical indication is of 495, but Caracol became just
an important city in the 7th century. On 18 April 553 lord
