Ahold cancel credit facilities
ZAANDAM (DUTCH PRESS AGENCY) - Ahold cancels this month
two expensive credit facilities. It concerns agreements which
the supermarktconcern in December 2003 made with a number of banks
rapidly respectively 300 millions euro and 1.45 billion dollar to be
able lend Ahold then still contended with the naweeën of the
accounting malversaties which ten had come months for that to outside
Ahold explained Friday that it now a strong liquidity position have.
These are the consequence of sale of a number of components.
The concern wants conclude later this year a new credit facility
against more favourable conditions.
