Profit land register doubles thanks to Internet register
APELDOORN (DUTCH PRESS AGENCY) - the land register previous year the profit has largely doubled up to 5.4 million euro. The land register got down more than 20 millions euro more. The turnover lane with that up to 210 millions euro against 188 millions euro a year earlier. That let know the independent governing body Friday.The turnover grew mainly by the increasing number of consultations of the Internet register of the land register. Also the number of buy certificates increased previous year with 8 per cent. Since September 2003 parties have been possible let register a provisional purchase contract at the land register. This protects purchasers during six months against bankruptcies of the salesman. The offer of mortgages decreased with respect to 2003 with 3 per cent up to 579.000.The legal activities produced 6.4 million euro profit. The activities which the land register beside its legal tasks undertook, appeared with a negative result of 1 million euro loss-making. The turnover decreased here of 6.8 to 4 millions euro. This was caused by a lower turnover of products of the large-scale basis card the Netherlands inferred (GBKN), the most detailed topographical basis card of the Netherlands.
