august 2003 08.22 THE HAGUE - the Tax and Customs Administration has
extended its hunting on foreign capacity with a speurtocht to holiday
houses, especially in Italy, France and Spain. From data which
have got down finances of the Tax and Customs Administrations of those
countries, becomes clear that there rather what is Dutch with
beautiful holiday houses which have not communicated that to the Dutch
tax authority. Also to the holiday house abroad applies that
there 1.2 percent concerning the value must be paid. There the
hand is considerably lifted. Finances think thus being able pick
up euro to subsequent tax demands millions. The treatment of
Dutch immovable property abroad results from the successful hunting on
secret bank accounts of Dutch abroad. That action, which is now
a year and a half to pace, the tax authority 83 millions have already
produced euro. Moreover still lawsuits stand once more 90
million euro. A spokesman of finances expects that this amount
incurs still. Starting immovable property that hid Dutch for the
