Large bankruptcy in Switzerland in visibility
Spent: 5 December 2003 14.01 WINTERTHUR - after the
debacle of the airline company Swissair a large bankruptcy outlines
himself in Switzerland. The doubtful honour this time has been
put aside for the venture Erb-Gruppe, which sits with debts of more
than 2 billion frank (1.28 billion euro). Erb-Gruppe can no
longer meet its obligations and let Friday know postponement have
requested for some company components. The financial problems
came above water after the oprichter of the venture, Hugo Erb, this
summer had died. The venture counts four divisies, to which in
sum 85 companies belong. The original core of Erb is the car
trade, which falls under Herfina. Herfina are on after largest
car importer of Zwisterland. Erb have also large koffiehandel,
under the name Volcafe. For this it zoekt a purchaser.
There work approximately 4900 people at Erb, of whom 2500 in
Switzerland. Of the family company no financial data have been
confessed. The annual turnover amounts to billion to estimate
