' smaller companies discriminated against at charge
reduction '
Spent: 14 June 2004 08.16 DIGS - medium and small
companies are discriminated against in the cabinet plans to reduce the
administrative charges with respect to large ventures. There
where ventures with than 250 employees soon 25 percents more less time
and money are lost to law - and legislation, the lastendruk for
companies with on average 7 staff members only 17 up to 18 per cent is
lighted. That becomes clear from calculations of the economic
institute EIM, which for Mkb-Nederland have been performed. The
organisation for medium and small entrepreneurs has called the House
of Commons by means of a letter the cabinet policy to steer.
Monday is there a parliamentary debate with the ministers Zalm
(finances) and Brinkhorst (economic matter) concerning the progress of
the plans the administrative tackle lastendruk. , The cabinet
has started well, but now must more attention come for the middle -
and small company. Differently our competive position comes in
danger, thus Mkb-voorzitter L. Hermans. There for the simple
line it has been so far chosen. At the treatment of rules are
they forget that Mkb-ondernemers everything nevertheless itself must
carry out, whereas large companies have for that complete staff
departments. Hermans state that the administrative lastendruk
now already nine times are heavier for the companies with one up to
250 employees then for larger ventures. THE EIM have that
quantifies each 10 per cent charge reduction leads up to almost 1 per
cent economic growth. You ' can examine if the delay of the sme
becomes still larger, what means that for our competive position.'
Especially in the industrial sector and the horeca the position
of smaller companies affects further at the back. Sometimes the
difference increases according to Hermans, however, with a factor
three. He states that in these sectors commit relatively much
work have to the implementation of salaries tax and employee insurance
schemes. ' it would not make a difference much as smaller
entrepreneurs everything each regulate time by employee to have, but
can do that in a time as a company.' Also the license scheme
must according to Mkb-Nederland on the shovel. Fodder for
smaller companies a registration requirement for matter for which now
still a license has been required. The municipality can always
afterwards check, as also now happens, or the company sticks to the
rules, thus Hermans. (c) DUTCH PRESS AGENCY
