Provincies halen ruim 1 miljard euro op aan belastingen

De gemeenten hebben de afgelopen jaren de belastingen verhoogd. Last week it was already confessed that the municipal charges increase by 7.6 percent. By province there are discover large differences concerning the charges. Drenthe, friesland and sea country sit under the rural average. The charge increase is highest in zuid-Holland.
More than ninety per cent of the tax money, fees and levies come of car owners. That happens by means of the so-called provincial surtax road tax. That is the allowance on the rural determined road tax. This income goes on average with 12.9 percent omhoog.
The coming years can raise the provinces their income by means of imposition and other income still further. There its maxima agreed with the rural government concerning for example the surtax road tax. In sum are possible the provinces only which imposition on cars gets in hundreds of millions still some extra.
