Dutch save more but stand more often red

11 February 2005 10.58 VOORBURG - households stood last year
more often red on their betaalrekening. The shortage on the
accounts ran with 7 per cent on up to 6.9 billion euro. The
savings balance grew with 8 per cent up to almost 200 billion euro.

increased. The scope of these loans lane with 3.5 percent up to
17.9 billion. On average a household 1500 lent euro and relayed
