Internetsparen strongly increased
VOORBURG (DUTCH PRESS AGENCY) - save by means of Internet
previous year has strongly increased. According to figures of
the central office for statistics (CBS) there end 2004 stood a
totaalbedrag of 58.4 billion euro on these accounts. This is 37
per cent more than one year earlier. This development goes at
the cost of ’gewoon’ to save and telephone
spaarrekeningen, thus it CBS Wednesday.
The total scope of all spaarrekeningen amounted to end 2004
199.7 billion euro. The year before was that still 185.1 billion
euro. More rather it has been already determined that consumers
save more by uncertainty concerning the development of the economy.

Consumers prove to be extra amount to whom they save especially
to transfer to Internet accounts, helped campaign of banks their
managing accounts online. The amount on the telephone
spaarrekeningen decreased with 2.1 billion euro up to 21.6 billion
euro. At the remaining spaarrekeningen there was a thin increase
of 900 millions euro.
There is, however, a kentering visible in the spaarzucht.
In the first trimester of this year 2.2 billion euro was paid on
the spaarrekeningen. A year ago was that billion still 4 euro.
The bedrijfssparen have further decreased previous year.
The inleg for the spaarloon came from on almost 1.4 billion
