More it-banen gone at ABN AMRO
AMSTERDAM (Dow Jones) - ABN AMRO has informed Wednesday
the employees concerning the subcontracting of it-activiteiten.
This says Sierk Nawijn of the bank to spokesman Wednesday.
The concern is cross out voltijdbanen of plan zo’n 1,500,
of which 700 up to 750 in the Netherlands.
It is according to Nawijn not yet clear how many employees go
along to the companies to who ABN AMRO boards the activities, because
the negotiations with several parties run still. In December
2004 ABN AMRO stated still that according to the expectations 1,200
job for outscourcing on the nominatie stood, of which 600 in the
Netherlands. The operation makes part from of the previous year
announced reorganisation, which as from 2007 zo’n 600 millions
must save euro on an annual basis.
A large part of the savings must be realised at it-diensten.
The invitation to tender procedures for subcontracting of these
activities run at present. Companies have registered on three
parcels, after ’best and final offer’ procedure
continued a limited number of companies concerning take over the
activities. ABN AMRO sells by auction the activities in three
parcels: it-infrasctructuur, for which IBM and Hewlett-Packard
in the race are, application support and management (Tata Consultancy
services and Infosys) and application development (IBM, Tata, Infosys,
Patni and Accenture). According to Nawijn the negotiations over
