Transport companies suffer from enlargement EU
ZOETERMEER (DUTCH PRESS AGENCY) - much Dutch transport
companies suffer from the enlargement of the European Union. By
the increased competition many ventures have their turnover and the
number of tasks sees decreasing. That becomes clear from Friday
published enquête of transport and the logistical Netherlands
(tln) under 1150 members.
Of all transporteurs average 36 percents sees something of
Eu-uitbreiding. Of all these companies at 70 per cent the
turnover has decreased and at 61 per cent the number of has decreased,
thus tln to tasks. Also the tariffs have in many cases
decreased. Especially international carriers experience
embarrassment of the competition, thus tln.
"I have got rid of constituents, for which I many years'
transported, for a foreign transport company that with cheap drivers
work", am according to tln much-heard complaint. Small carriers
seem especially much have charge of Eu-uitbreiding. "it is
dishonest competition where only large companies something can come
along, but where smaller commit to at under will go", said an
entrepreneur.
Some entrepreneurs are frightened for a hard concurrentieslag
within the Netherlands. Because the international transport by
Eu-uitbreiding have become less attractive, large companies aim more
and more at the Dutch market <! - - showBanner('336X280 ', ' MIDDLE);
