AFM want more openness concerning placement funds
AMSTERDAM (DUTCH PRESS AGENCY) - banks must give more
openness of matter concerning appointments on placement products which
they sell. That said P. koster of the grant supervision holder
authority Financiële to driver markets (AFM) Tuesday in an
interview with NRC trade booklet.
More and more banks and insurers offer placement products of
competitors according to koster, but threaten put beleggers on the
found oneself leg. To what extent there a care duty for the
customers exists who zo’n buy product? The bank is
responsible if it goes wrong with a fund of a competitor?,

example of recent scandals at large American placement funds.

THE AFM want among others stricter control of the calculation of
rates, disappearing the duty a listing and have the abolition of
capital duty. Koster finds that that last measure is necessary
