La grande fusion dans la branche d'assurance britannique
LONDEN (ANP/AFP) - De Britse verzekeraar Britannic gaat fuseren met branchegenoot Resolution Life. Door het samengaan ontstaat een onderneming
met zes miljoen polissen en een marktwaarde van 1,8 miljard pond sterling. Cela a rendu les deux sociétés connu le jeudi.
Topman Paul Thompson van Britannic is blij met de samenvoeging. "C'est une fusion de deux sociétés qui se complètent et une stratégie commune suivre."Thompson obtiendra la direction au sujet du nouveau groupe.
La fusion sera dans le troisième trimestre achevé selon toute vraisemblance et doit une économie de 20 millions pond
produire. La nouvelle société d'assurance va ensuite en dessous du nom Resolution.
